The Founding member & Guiding light of Karigrah Foundation. Lovendra Singh Shekhawat is an LLB graduate who chose development sector because of his deep-rooted interest in social work and from past 6 years has been working as a development professional with a multidisciplinary background in youth development, entrepreneurship, Education and as an environmentalist.His vision is to play a formative role in the upliftment of society and the under-privileged sections at large.
His journey started with the National Service Scheme where he worked to solve problems in various sectors of society. During his long span of NSS Volunteership, he developed an immense love for the society and sought to eradicate the poverty and rural issues prevailing in the society.
He had been awarded the Indira Gandhi National Award 2017 by the Honourable President of India at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi accolading his exemplary contribution for the upliftment of society and has represented India many times as a youth delegate in the following congregations:-
Urvashi Jain is educationist, philanthropist, businesswoman who is extremely passionate about developing economic and social empowerment programs, and implementing policy frameworks for offering financial services to the low-income and unbanked demographic. By profession she is a Company Secretary and Law Graduate having an immense experience of 8 years. She has been working with many companies as a Secretarial and Legal Service Provider. While working for her profession she has been closely associated with promotion of rural livelihoods by directly & actively working with various NGOs and SHGs. Her core capabilities are dissemination, advocacy and social development programs.
An expert in Education, Assessment and Management, Santosh Jain is working in the field since 30 years. She has been associated with the schools and colleges and has also worked for government schools as well.
Santosh felt compelled to address the issue of educational inequity at scale. As she felt that there is a need to address the issue, she believed that the answer lays in people’s movement that needed to come together to provide every child in India an excellent education. Working with such initiative she worked with many NGOs and organizations for the growth of the child.
She also felt that the children are the future of the society and they are the once who will carry the culture and heritage with them and this made her laid the stone of foundation for “KARIGRAH”. Her motto for the foundation is to change the thought of the traditional artisans and provide them a platform to harmonize the values of good purpose and good design, for an even better people.
He is the star of the foundation, at the age of 3 suffered with the spinal disability and still didn’t gave up hope and continued with his studies and is a Graduate with good aptitude. His determination and struggle gives a motivation to such people not to give up and be determined towards the success and hard work. He has been actively working with NGOs along with his brother and also running a social media company independently. Abhiraj brings along a flair & passion to the various social causes that KariGrah Foundation undertakes – through his experience, easy going attitude, man management skills & more.
