Journey

Our Journey

Our Founders started the journey of KariGrah traveling to the areas like Maniharo Ka Rasta, Ramganz Bazar, Achrol House, Sanaganer Village in Jaipur and other remote rural villages nearby to understand and learn the challenges of being an artisan.

“The Journey of thousand steps begins with a single step”. This proverb comes true with the little steps taken by our Founders Lovendra, Urvashi, Santosh and Abhiraj. An admiration among the hearts to create a sustainable life for artisans and to protect culture and generational heritage gave birth to “KARIGRAH FOUNDATION”.

Visiting the artisans and understanding their beliefs towards the culture and their exceptional skills that inspired to move further and provide them a platform where they can showcase their talents and improve their quality of life. Understanding the modernization, there is also a need for environmentally-friendly solutions for modern living . Together on a purpose-driven mission to co-create a more beautiful, better connected, and equitable community of artisans, , they joined hands to establish “KARIGRAH” — A platform to harmonize the values of artisans and preserve the culture.

Vision

Our vision is to save arts & crafts from extinction, and create a society of equality for artisans through opportunity and socio-economic development.
