KariGrah Foundation is founded with the belief that there is an extremity to bring rural artisans into the mainstream market and promote their living standards. The motive of laying the foundation is to preserve, revive and promote traditional art, craft and handloom activities through sustainable livelihood initiatives.

We are a non-profit organization buzzed to work for handloom and handicraft sector and seek to ensure that the growth and continued vibrancy of the artisans and this sector. We work on the philosophy of totality, by creating an ecosystem that empowers and provide a better standard of living for Artisans.

KariGrah thrives to contributes to a positive societal impact through diverse community engagement initiatives and create and support meaningful activities through innovative institutions to address some of India’s most pressing developmental challenges.

Art and Drawing Competition

KariGrah Foundation has come up with the most prestigious event for the young minds of Jaipur to showcase their imagination on canvas. Due to machine made life, the traditional art is wiping out. There is an urge to give recognition to our artisans and the talents of young minds are the best way of giving them the pace that they have lost in this modern lifestyle. The young minds are the once who are going to take our heritage and culture to a new heights. This art and drawing competition is a tribute to all the artisans of our country who have given recognition to our heritages.

KalaGrah is an art contest which is a unique drawing, painting and art competition designed to encourage creative expression.

Art Contest Highlights

    • Class IX to XII
    • Age Group above 18 years (College Students, Professionals, Homemakers)
  • Submit drawings, paintings, cartoons, doodles, sketches, posters, digital art, collage
  • Use any drawing or painting medium of your choice
  • Topic/Theme: Tribute to Artisans (Karigars)
  • Last Date to Submit your Art : 21/01/2023
  • Artwork sizes : A5 / A4 / A3 (You can also submit your art work on canvas of any size as well) (Size and Paper Choice are optional)
  • Participation Fee : 150/- each student
  • Certificate of Participation will be generated online for each participant. All participants are requested to download their certificate from website.

Benefits of being shortlisted

  • Shortlisted artworks will undergo a second round of judging to decide Honorable Mentions. The finalists and winners will be awarded with the Prize Money and Certificates.
  • Your artworks will be promoted through exhibitions and on our website by your respective names.
